If human experience was a sound, and that sound was a painting, it probably wouldn't sound like a 'Monet.' It would be this. Drained of superfluous hope, this is ugly and upsetting and somehow beautiful. The sound of human doubt, anxiety, lust and decay looking in the mirror.
